Nakedness in connection to the human body should be a story without any need for narration. However, the imagery of skin and flesh stretched over bones is something so familiar that we tend to overlook the impact it has on our perception of intimacy.
This project attempts to introduce a new sense of curiosity for the stripped-down human body through a figurative luminaire. The merge of soft glowing light and a hard medium that has been manipulated to achieve a sense of fluidity brings an impactful warmth. The result is made possible by using 3D-printed porcelain clay.
